MP ATTENDS GUIDE DOGS 75TH ANNIVERSARY

Angus MP, Mike Weir attended the 75th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in Forfar.  Mr Weir was also a guest to a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the association’s new dog training centre at Forfar’s Orchardbank Business Park.

Speaking after the ceremony, Mr Weir said:

“I was delighted to be invited to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and to witness the laying of the foundation stone for their new training centre.

“The Guide Dogs Association has a long relationship with the town of Forfar, and the wider community in Angus. Everyone in the town will be pleased that the Association have committed to continuing this relationship by building their new centre at Orchardbank”
