MIKE WEIR OUT AND ABOUT IN ANGUS
Mike Weir MP regularly visits community events throughout Angus. This Saturday he dropped into the plant sale organised by the Eassie and Nevay Community Association as part of their fundraising efforts for a new hall.
Commenting on his visit Mr Weir said
“I was very impressed by the wide range of plants available. Clearly the people of Eassie and Nevay have very green fingers. I was very pleased to be able to buy a selection of plants to cheer up my own, sadly neglected, garden.”
Following his visit to Eassie Mike went on to visit the Craft Fair organised by Kirriemuir Glens and Old Parish Churches .
“Craft fairs are now a well established part of the local scene and I was pleased to be able to visit the first organised by Kirriemuir churches. The varied crafts on display demonstrated the wide variety of skilled craftspeople that work in the area.”
If you are organising an event please let us know. Clearly Mike cannot visit every event in Angus but is keen to make as many as possible.
