ANGUS MP CONGRATULATES SEAFEST ORGANISERS 

Angus MP Mike Weir, who attended the Arbroath Seafest on Saturday with his family, has congratulated the organisers for staging such a successful event.

“It was clear from the crowds at the harbour area that Seafest has established itself as a major attraction to the town. As well as celebrating the town’s historic, and current,  links with the sea  the event is also a boost to our local economy.”

“I was a bit apprehensive about the weather when I left home but by the time I got to Arbroath it was glorious.  “
