Representing a large rural constituency, and unusually among MPs, Mike has established three offices within Angus constituency – the offices are located in Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose. Mike believes it is essential to be as accessible to constituents as possible without the need for local residents to travel long distances, adding to carbon emissions and travel costs.
Some MPs base their staff in
parliament, not Mike. With three local offices and an experienced team of
constituency staff, Mike stands ready to help with any local issues of concern.
All Mike’s office staff have good knowledge of the local area and are
experienced in dealing with constituency enquiries. Staff deal with casework on
a completely confidential basis, meaning that even when Mike is in parliament,
enquiries can be taken forward without delay.

Mike’s
Arbroath office is the designated Constituency Office and is staffed by his
Parliamentary Assistant Donald Morrison and his Secretary/ Assistant Joyce
Morrison (no relation).

The Forfar
Office is staffed by Donald and Mike's wife Anne,who works part time. The office
is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Mike will meet constituents there at
other times by arrangement.

The Montrose
office is staffed on Monday, Thursday and Friday by Mike’s part time
